What these tools are for
The Come Fry With Me tour has fourteen shows across ten UK cities, and most people have the same handful of practical questions: which date and city suit me, how much will the trip cost, when do I need to leave, and how long until the night. These tools answer them without a sign-up, an app or a cookie, and everything runs in your browser, so nothing you enter is sent to a server.
The planning tools use the same tour data as the rest of the site, which we check against the promoters' and venues' own pages. When a detail has not been published, such as a doors time, the tool says so instead of guessing. You will find each tool's method, worked examples and sources on its page.
Maths toys
Hannah Fry's work is about how badly our intuition handles chance, so we have added two small simulators in that spirit: the birthday paradox and the Monty Hall problem. Both come with plain-English explanations, formulas and worked examples. If they whet your appetite, read where to start with Hannah Fry's books.
