Venues with no published bag policy
New Theatre Cardiff: we could not find a bag policy on the venue's visitor pages. Treat it like the others and bring a small bag, or ask the venue before you travel. See the venue guide.
What to do with a bigger bag
- Leave it at your hotel. Most will hold luggage before check-in and after check-out.
- Use left luggage at the main railway station, or a bag-storage service near the venue. Book ahead on show nights.
- Do not count on the cloakroom: where one exists it may be small, charge a fee, or refuse large bags.

Can I bring a rucksack or suitcase to a Hannah Fry show?
Assume not. Every venue on the tour that publishes a policy either bans large bags or limits you to a small one, and several say so for rucksacks and suitcases by name. If you are travelling with luggage, leave it at your hotel or a station left-luggage service before you go.
Will my bag be searched?
Possibly. Several venues say staff may search bags on entry, and refusing a search can mean you are not let in. Allow extra time and keep your bag small to get through faster.
Policies were last checked on 2026-10-12 and can change for individual events. The venue's own page is the authority; check it close to your date.
