Seating at New Theatre for Hannah Fry
New Theatre does not publish a seat count. It has seats on 3 levels: Stalls, Circle and Upper Circle. You pick your seat on the seller's seating plan when you book, so the plan you see there is the one that counts for 13 Oct 2027.
The venue's own seating plan shows the full layout.
What the venue says about its seats
- The boxes are marked restricted view on the seating plan.
- A lift serves all levels and is reached through the auditorium, with staff to escort you. Most seats still have steps after the lift.
- Wheelchair spaces are sold only by phone or in person, and the box office picks the area to suit your wheelchair. Stalls row V and the boxes cannot be booked online.
Access seating
The venue does not list where its wheelchair spaces are. Book access seats through the venue rather than a general seller page. Details are in the accessibility guide for New Theatre.
Choosing a seat
- Look for "restricted view" or "partial view" labels on the plan. Sellers price these lower because a pillar, rail or overhang blocks part of the stage.
- For a show built around one person on stage, a clear view and good sound matter more than being close. A central seat further back can beat a side seat near the front.
- Upper levels in older theatres can be steep. If you dislike heights or stairs, choose a lower level or ask the venue about lifts.
- If you are booking for two nights or a group, check the per-order limit before you choose. See how to buy tickets.
