Pros: Easier to travel to. No work the next day (for most). Hotels often have weekend deals. Good for making a mini-break of it.
Cons: Higher demand, so tickets may sell out faster. Train fares may be higher. Cities like Edinburgh and Bath fill up at weekends.

Cons: You may need to take time off work. Late finishes on a school/work night. Some restaurants and attractions close earlier on weekdays.
